Welcome to ReelChess Tournaments! We are excited to announce that we will soon be holding local tournaments for players of all levels at our location in Sydney. These tournaments will be a great opportunity for chess enthusiasts to test their skills and compete against others. Trophies and other prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Our School Tournaments

ReelChess Bronze Tournament

Our standard, engaging tournament package designed for the majority of school settings, providing a solid foundation for competitive play. 5 rounds of 8+0 Timed Games (3.5 Hour Tournament Run Time)

Participants: Up to 30 students

ReelChess Silver Tournament

An elevated tournament experience with extended duration, catering to schools with higher interest and a larger pool of participants. We also capture footage for your school tournament ready for the school to post. 6 rounds of 10+0 Timed Games (4.5 Hour Tournament Run Time).

Participants: Up to 40 students

    Our most elite and comprehensive program, spanning one full academic term (8 weeks). This exclusive offering includes two dedicated teaching days per week, regular tournaments, personalized coaching from multiple titled players, and specialized preparation for national tournaments.

Our General Tournament Formats For Third Party Providers

Mini Tournaments

Structure: 5 rounds of 10-minute rapid games (5 minutes per side), approximately 90 minutes, up to 25 players.

Features: Smaller groups, focused coaching between rounds, engaging atmosphere, and emphasis on strategic play.

Big Tournaments

Structure: 7 rounds of 20-minute games (10 minutes per side), approximately 4 hours, up to 50 players.

Features: Comprehensive coaching, interactive workshops, community building, enhanced competitiveness, and trophies for winners.

Additional Activities

We offer optional activities to make the tournaments engaging and
enjoyable for all participants, including blindfold chess, chess art corner, simultaneous
exhibitions, and puzzle-solving competitions.
