What to Expect on the Day
Arrive by 9:20am to check in and get settled. Round 1 begins at 9:45am sharp, please do not arrive late as pairings are set before the first round starts.
Parents are welcome to stay outside the venue throughout the day, or drop off and return for the prize ceremony at 1:00pm. Parents are not permitted inside the playing area during rounds to keep the competitive environment focused for all players.
The Day Schedule
9:20am — Arrive and check in
9:45am — Round 1
10:10am — Round 2
10:35am — Round 3
11:15am — Break (30 minutes)
11:45am — Round 4
12:10pm — Round 5
12:35pm — Round 6
1:00pm — Prize ceremony and trophies
1:30pm — Finish
What to Bring
All chess equipment is provided. Bring a water bottle and a snack for the break. No uniform required.
Venue
The Ponds High School D block open space, The Ponds NSW. Parking is available around the venue.
