Rayman started chess at 11 and became Under 12 State Champion in just four months of competitive play. Rated 2300 online, he built ReelChess because he believed the quality of coaching that produces elite players should be accessible to every student, not just those with the right connections.
His teaching approach is direct, structured, and demanding in the right way. Students learn not just moves, but how to think about the game and about everything else. That is the standard every ReelChess session is held to.

We are always looking for passionate, knowledgeable chess coaches to join our growing team. You will be delivering sessions in schools, online, and in person across Sydney. This is a role where you genuinely make a difference in students lives every single week.
- Deliver structured sessions in schools and in person groups
- Follow and contribute to the ReelChess curriculum
- Track and report on student progress each term
- Represent ReelChess at tournaments and events
- Strong chess knowledge required, competitive experience preferred
ReelChess has a huge and growing presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. We are looking for a creative, driven intern to help grow that presence even further, creating content, building campaigns, and helping tell the ReelChess story to the world.
- Create and edit content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Assist with campaign planning and social media strategy
- Film and produce content at events, bootcamps, and tournaments
- Help grow the ReelChess community online

We are building ReelChess Academy, a full digital learning platform and mobile app that will change how chess is learned and tracked. We need a talented software engineer who wants to build something genuinely exciting from the ground up.
- Build and develop the ReelChess Academy platform and mobile app
- Work closely with the founder to design and implement features
- Contribute to the ReelRating system architecture
- Help build something that will be used by thousands of students
- Experience with mobile and web development required
