ReelChess Interschool Tournament
Sunday 12 July 2026 — The Ponds High School, Sydney
9:45am to 1:30pm — 6-Round Swiss — Ages 6 to 14
- ENROLLED STUDENT ENTRY — $35 (inc. GST)
- This rate is reserved for students currently enrolled in any ReelChess Term 2 2026 or Term 3 2026 program.
- WHAT YOU GET
- Six rounds of competitive Swiss-format chess across one day at The Ponds High School. Professionally run and officiated by ReelChess coaches. All equipment provided. Medals for top 3 finishers plus Best Under 8 award. Certificate of participation for every player. Players represent their school for the school team prize (see below).
- SCHOOL TEAM PRIZE
- Every player enters a school name at checkout. The top 4 students from each school have their scores combined into a school team total. The school with the highest combined score wins the team trophy plus a chess kit donated to the school. Minimum 4 students per school required for team eligibility.
- CHECKOUT FIELDS REQUIRED
- At checkout you will be asked to provide:
- Student’s full name
- Student’s age and year group
- Student’s school name (used for team prize eligibility — please use the school’s official name)
- Parent/guardian contact
- ENROLMENT VERIFICATION (IMPORTANT)
- This $35 rate is strictly for students currently enrolled in a ReelChess Term 2 2026 or Term 3 2026 program. Every entry at this rate is cross-checked against our active enrolment list before confirmation. If you are not currently enrolled and have selected this rate, your entry will not be processed. You will be contacted to top up to General Entry ($55), or your booking will be refunded minus a $5 admin fee. This policy applies even if the wrong rate was selected by mistake. If you are unsure whether you qualify, please email admin@reelchess.com BEFORE booking.
- REFUND POLICY
- Entry fees are non-refundable once confirmed. If the event is cancelled by ReelChess, a full refund is issued.
- CONFIRMATION
- Final tournament details (round timings, parking, what to bring) will be emailed in the week before the event.
