What Students Gain.
What Schools Achieve.
Chess is one of the most evidence-supported tools for developing cognitive and social skills in young people. ReelChess programs deliver these outcomes in a structured, measurable way that schools can report on.
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
Students develop the ability to analyse situations, evaluate options, and make thoughtful decisions — skills directly transferable to academic performance.
Focus and Sustained Attention
Chess demands deep concentration. Regular practice builds the capacity to stay focused for extended periods, a skill that benefits every area of school life.
Resilience and Growth Mindset
Students learn to analyse losses, adapt, and persist. This builds genuine resilience and a positive relationship with challenge and failure.
Achievement and Confidence
Structured milestones and certificates give students something concrete to work towards, building real confidence through real achievement.

Ask Your School
to Bring Us In.
The fastest way to get a ReelChess program at your child's school is to ask. A single email from a parent to a principal takes two minutes and is often all it takes to start the conversation.
Schools respond to parent demand. If you think chess would benefit your child and their peers, let the school know. We can be up and running within two weeks of a school saying yes.
Why it works: Principals prioritise programs that parents actively request. Your email signals demand, reduces their risk, and gives them a reason to act. Schools we work with regularly tell us a parent email was what started it.
Find your principal's email
Usually on the school website under Contact or About. The front office email works too.

Subject: Chess Program for Our Students Hi [Principal's Name], I wanted to reach out about bringing a structured chess coaching program to [School Name]. I came across ReelChess, a professional chess coaching organisation currently running programs at a number of schools across NSW. They handle everything including coaches, equipment, and curriculum. The school simply provides the space. There is no cost to the school. I think it would be a fantastic enrichment option for our students and would love to know if it is something the school would consider. I have copied in the ReelChess team at schools@reelchess.com if you would like to learn more directly. Thank you for considering it. Kind regards, [Your Name]
