Continuous private group chess coaching at Schofields, personally run by Rayman Singh.
- Day: Saturdays
- Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm
- First session of Term 4: Saturday 17 October 2026
- Last session of Term 4: Saturday 19 December 2026
Sessions are personally coached by Rayman Singh in a small group setting, with a structured approach tailored to each group’s level. All equipment is provided.
How it works:
This is a continuous coaching program, not a set-term class. You pay for a block of 5 or 10 sessions, and your child/ward attends each Saturday until the block is complete.
If your child/ward misses one session in a block, that session automatically carries over and the block extends by one week. If more than one session is missed, those additional sessions count toward the block, so a 10-session block will finish at 10 Saturdays whether they attended all 10 or not. Exceptional circumstances (serious illness, family emergencies, etc.) will always be handled personally and separately, please just reach out.
Public holidays and long weekend Saturdays don’t run and don’t count as a session, the block simply extends by that week.
What’s included:
- Free access to the ReelChess Academy online portal (academy.reelchess.com), the home practice tool for puzzles, lessons, and rated play between sessions.
- Bonus: weekly tactical training session on Tuesdays 6:00pm to 6:30pm, included with every enrolment.
Please enquire for availability and details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do classes run on public holidays or long weekend Saturdays?
No. Classes do not run on NSW public holidays or long weekend Saturdays, and these don’t count as a session. Your block simply extends by that week. Families are always notified in advance.
What happens if my child/ward misses a session?
If it’s a single missed session in a block, that session carries over and the block extends by one week. If more than one session is missed, those additional sessions count toward the block, they’re marked as delivered even if not attended. So a 10-session block finishes at 10 Saturdays regardless.
For exceptional circumstances (serious illness, family emergencies, or anything genuinely unexpected), please reach out and we’ll handle it personally and fairly, case by case.
Do carried-over sessions still count toward certificates and reports?
Yes. All attended sessions count toward your child/ward’s certificate progress and end-of-term report, regardless of when they’re completed, including a session carried over from a previous block. Progress is tracked continuously and is not reset each term.
